Quick answers to the questions we get asked most.
At Elix, we believe that the leaders of tomorrow are shaped through the experiences they have today. Our toys are designed to give children opportunities to move, explore, think, create, solve problems and make their own choices. We don't want to tell children exactly how to play. We want to give them the freedom to lead their own play.
Leadership doesn't begin with a title. It begins with small things children experience every day—confidence, curiosity, decision-making, problem-solving, independence and the courage to try. Elix toys create opportunities for children to practice these qualities through play. A child deciding how to build something, figuring out how to solve a puzzle, climbing higher after a challenge, or creating their own story may seem like simple play. But these experiences help children learn to think for themselves and trust their own abilities. That's the foundation of Let Them Lead.
Different Elix toys encourage different skills, but our bigger goal goes beyond individual skills. Through purposeful play, we encourage children to develop: - Confidence — believing, “I can do it.” - Curiosity — wanting to discover “What happens if…?” - Independence — learning to try things on their own. - Problem-solving — finding their own way through challenges. - Decision-making — making choices during play. - Creativity — imagining and creating something new. - Focus — staying with a challenge. - Physical confidence — understanding and controlling their body. These are the building blocks we believe can help children become capable adults and future leaders.
Because children don't need us to control every moment of their childhood. They need opportunities to try, fail, explore, make choices and try again. When a child chooses how to play, solves a problem independently or discovers something without being given the answer, they are practicing something important: “I can figure this out.” That's the mindset we want to nurture. Elix — Let Them Lead.
We believe the best learning often happens when children are simply having fun. Elix toys are designed around purposeful play, where children can learn through movement, exploration, experimentation and creativity. We don't want children to feel like they're sitting in another classroom. We want them to play—and grow through that play.
When children have the freedom to explore independently, they get opportunities to make choices, face small challenges and discover solutions on their own. Instead of always hearing: “Do this.” “Do it this way.” “Here is the answer.” they begin asking: “What should I try?” “Can I do it?” “How can I solve this?” That shift—from following instructions to thinking independently—is an important part of growing up.
Choose based on your child's age, ability, interests and developmental stage. Each Elix product includes relevant age and product information to help you make the right choice. If you're unsure, simply tell us your child's age and what kind of play you want to encourage. We'll help you choose.
We design our products with children's play experience and intended use in mind. However, every toy should be used according to its intended purpose and age suitability. For active products such as climbing and swinging toys, adult supervision and proper setup are important. Our goal isn't just to create exciting play—we want to create meaningful play that parents can feel confident about.
Because we're not trying to fill your child's room with more toys. We're trying to give them better opportunities to play. Every Elix product is selected around a simple question: “What can this experience help a child discover about themselves and the world?” Can they move? Can they explore? Can they solve? Can they create? Can they make a choice? Can they try again? That's what makes Elix different.
No—and we would never promise that a toy alone can make a child a leader. Leadership develops through many experiences, relationships, values and opportunities throughout childhood. What we can do is create toys and play experiences that encourage some of the qualities associated with strong, capable people—such as confidence, curiosity, independence, creativity and problem-solving. We simply want to give children a better place to start.
Because our relationship with parents shouldn't end when the toy arrives. Where included, our digital guides and other complimentary gifts are designed to help parents understand how to make play more meaningful and get more value from the product. The toy is the beginning. The experience is what matters.
Not at all. Children develop differently. Some naturally climb and explore. Some love puzzles. Some enjoy creating stories. Some need more encouragement to try. Our goal is to provide different kinds of play experiences so children can discover what they enjoy, what challenges them and what they are capable of.
We want children to grow up believing: “I can try.” “I can think.” “I can solve.” “I can create.” “I can make choices.” “I can lead.” That's why our vision goes beyond toys. We're building the experiences that help children become the people they can be. ELIX - LET THEM LEAD.
